CPR and First Aid Certification through the American Heart Association is valid for 2 years
Bloodborne Pathogens Certification is valid for 1 year
You receive your cards upon completion of class (in most cases same day)
Method of payment is either Cash or Check
Payment due at time of class
- Study the skills section of your Manual (if you pick up manual prior to class)
- Be prepared to spend the first few hours on the floor for the Adult/Child segments of CPR
- If you have had recent health challenges that impair your ability to perform the skills of CPR on the floor please notify us at the time you call to register for class.
- Dress comfortably
Remember you will be kneeling on the floor to perform CPR, low cut tops and low rider trousers can be very revealing when you are performing the skills of CPR on the floor.
LENGTH OF TIME:
Plan for 3-4 hours for the Heartsaver First Aid Classes depending upon class size
Heartsaver CPR 2.5-3.5hrs
Healthcare Provider (New Class) 4hrs
Healthcare Provider (Renewal) 2.5-3.0 hrs
Communicable Diseases:
- Initial class is 6 hours
- Renewal is 3 hours
- Bloodborne Pathogens 1 hour
